Why they came to us…
In a nutshell, the Britcar team were looking for an all round flexible caterer that had high hygiene standards, and of course served a menu of tasty food! Image was also important…Food presentation was high on their wish list and staff serving food at their events needed to be extremely well presented and polite. To add to this flexibility on race days was critical as timings can change very quickly due to weather conditions and we need to adapt.
The catering format of their event…
- Breakfast served at 7am for staff, competitors & sponsors.
- A 2 course hot lunch served between 12 and 2.30pm, with 3 options for mains and 3 options for dessert, with choices being different on each day, with dietary requirements fully catered for.
- At 6pm, sweet and savoury canapés to be served to accompany the days for the prize giving, We also provided an all day drinks and snacks station from 6am – 7pm!
One off or series of events?
This is a prominent Britcar Endurance series of 7 events every month except August!
How many people?
Approx 150 – 180 per day
An insight into their menu…
It varies at each event, however we already have some clear favourites including Boeuf Bourguignon, Beef Lasagna, Caramelised Mushroom Tartlets and everyone loves our creamed potatoes!

What was involved in pulling it off?
It takes 2 weeks prior to the event to do the menu planning, ordering and shopping, and then there’s the prep before the event. It takes a day to set up at the event and then 2 long days 6am – 7pm without travel time!
How many staff?
Approximately 8 all week!
On event days, 2 in kitchen and 6 front of house
