Providing a hog roast for Plastic Omnium 650 staff, covering all their shifts, this was a big job for our team! Their menu featured hog roast, stuffing, apple sauce, coleslaw mixed salad and roast potatoes. A halal option was also  provided We provided a shift change as the working hours were 6am – 2am the following day! Corporate catering in style!

What is the format of their event?

Casual, with food served to staff in their staff canteen, to cover all shifts!

What was the solution you gave them?

We Cooked the hog roast and alternatives in a mobile kitchen at the venue. We had to provide a shift change as the working hours were 6am – 2am the following day!

What was the menu?

A pork hog roast, stuffing, apple sauce, coleslaw mixed salad and roast potatoes. A halal option was provided – bbq chicken and a vegetarian option of bbq pulled jackfruit

Were there specific requirements from the customer?

A couple of dietaries – a large number of halal guests, vegetarian and gluten free

What was involved in pulling it off? 

Ordering and prep of ingredients, transport and set up of equipment, cooking, serving and clear up of venue

How many staff? 

2 serving staff, 2 prep, 1 chef
